Churchill Trust support to explore best practices in VT prevention

Hello there,

I’m delighted to share some personal news, that I have been granted the support of the Winston Churchill Trust to explore best practices in the prevention of vicarious trauma (VT) as a 2023 Churchill Fellow.

In undertaking this fellowship, I will be supported to travel the United States to meet with lead innovators in organisational prevention of VT.

This project aims to gather and bring home the practical and strategic advice that will support Australian services to re-imagine what is possible in the effective prevention of VT. Read more about the project here.

I’m thrilled and humbled to have been awarded this opportunity and look forward to sharing these learnings with you.

With warmth and excitement,

Amy Nicholas
